Lily Bart (Gillian Anderson) is a beautiful woman from the higher
spheres of success and soon discovers that the state is associated with
danger, because of its beauty and charm quickly become a cause for envy
and jealousy of other people. Rozdarta between the heart and minds Lily
seems to do the appropriate things in the not very favorable time. That
it looks rich husband makes it loses the true love of his life Lawrence
Selden (Eric Stoltz). Her search for an appropriate end to the great
man's scandal, when the accused is a love affair with the married man,
and rejected by friends and the environment.

Her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully will go down as her best ever, and although her transition on to the big screen is slower than anticipated, she did deliver an award-winning performance in The House of Mirth in 2000.

Hopefully, she'll land a role that will reveal both how sexy and talented she really is, and this will thrust her into the limelight alongside other heavy-hitting actresses like Halle Berry.
